About us

family - run business

Papagallo Restaurant is a family - run business and it shows in its friendly service and careful attention to detail. Owned and run by Francisco Amaya, sr., wife Norma Ortez, sons, Miguel, Kevin, and Marlow, and daughters Sandra and Karina, Papagallo makes you feel at home. The Amaya family, originally from El Salvador, has extensive experience in food and hospitality services, so running a restaurant comes naturally to them. Every aspect of the restaurant is tended to by one of the Amaya family members, including the exquisitely prepared dishes, at the hands of chef Marlow Amaya, whose culinary talents have been showcased at the Lafayette house before opening up the family restaurant.

KITCHEN
Papagallo offers a unique culinary experience where you will explore the limitless possibilities of multicultural cuisine, sending your taste buds adventuring across the world. A striking high-energy family-run eatery with eclectic American, Spanish, Italian, Salvadorian, central American, and Puerto Rican dishes. We hope to thrill your senses with our fusion of latin flavors that will bring you back time and time again.
